I’m Shaun Stevenson, author, speaker, and Children’s Pastor, and I’m so glad you stopped by the site! Maybe you’re here because you’ve read one of my books in the Parable Port or Thrones series, maybe you’re here because you’re involved in Children’s Ministry in the local church and you’re looking for encouragement and ideas, or maybe you stumbled onto this website by happy accident. However you got here, welcome!
I’m a Pastor to Kids who loves seeing families discover who God is, what God has done, is doing, and will do one day! As a writer and storyteller, I love bringing Scripture to life for kids by creating fun ways for them to experience God’s Word. I’ve written children’s ministry materials and curriculum for several publishers, which has been used around the world and translated into both Spanish and French.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Bible and Theology from Multnomah University and a Master’s of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Biblical Studies from Portland Seminary.
When I’m not writing, performing magic tricks for summer reading programs at local libraries, or reading a vintage middle grade book from the 1990s, I can often be found exploring coffee shops, thrift stores, and escape rooms with my wife!
